Maharat provides a world-class development opportunity for recent Jordanian university graduates with no previous work experience, to receive formal training from dedicated mentors/ practitioners and work with private sector client firms to gain valuable first-hand practice and experience. Interns enrolled at the Maharat program will discover the immense satisfaction of acquiring significant knowledge, experience and career development opportunities. Maharat consists of two components:

1. “Maharat On the Job”: a six-month training program, divided into two distinct activities, training interns, and employment at client premises.





2. “Maharat Pioneers”: a two-month training program with intensive training in a specialized area such as HR, customer relations to enhance their career opportunities.

Maharat program seeks to:

• Improve the business and personal skills of recent university graduates

• Encourage their career paths and career opportunities.

• Complement and enhance the effectiveness of client services provided by BDS providers

• Provide a platform to foster the know-how and hands-on- experience of local and US service providers
